FRENCH POLISHING Using some of the oldest finishing techniques in the trade, we apply our skill and experience to finish all of your interior woodwork as if it were a fine piece of furniture. Our Specialty is a distressed and antiqued finish which brings all the intrigue, age and patina to a newly constructed room.

HAND APPLIED WAXES To provide our clients with a wide range of finishing choices, we offer waxed finishes in various colors. Using our European waxes we are able to transform, for example, a new Cypress tongue in groove ceiling into a look of an aged wood ceiling.

LACQUER FINISHES Acanthus International offers a full range of lacquer finishes. We can provide you with a basic lacquer finish for a cost effective result or we can adapt your ideas into a unique  finishes with colors to compliment your project.

EXTERIOR FINISHES This exterior door was heavily carved and traditionally finished  to stay in keeping with the original house.

This handrail was built by The Design-Build Store and finished with a French polish finish, by Acanthus.

Once installed this ceiling was finished by hand on site.
